Harvard-Amgen Scholars Program

The Amgen Scholars Program at Harvard is a 10-week faculty-mentored residential summer research program for undergraduates in biotechnology. Amgen Scholars will be paired with world-renowned faculty mentors and a director supervisor (postdoctoral scholar or graduate student) in the laboratory, following an interview selection process.

Penn Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies Student Research Fellowship

The Penn Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies (PORES) is an undergraduate research program committed to conducting high-quality social research in the public interest on issues of national and international importance.

PORES aims to develop a data-driven approach to understanding political outcomes in the United States through public opinion survey research and poll analysis.

MindCore: Undergraduate Summer Fellowship Program in Interdisciplinary Mind and Brain Studies

The MindCORE Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania offers a paid ten-week summer research program for undergraduate students from Penn (the Lila R. Gleitman Summer Fellowships) as well as for select students from other institutions. We seek a cohort of students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in interdisciplinary approaches to the study of the mind and brain. Our Program includes one week of workshop-style sessions with faculty as well as a short course in programming, followed by nine weeks of research experience in a MindCORE-affiliated faculty member’s lab.

The Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program

Following the class of 2021–22 fellows, the MUCF will pause to conduct a thorough evaluation and assessment of program goals and strategies. During this process, the foundation will analyze the program’s achievements, identify opportunities for improvement, and strengthen best practices for revitalized programming that is equal to the challenges and opportunities of the moment.

Gates Center Summer Internship Program

A committee of Gates Center faculty and staff will select highly qualified undergraduates to work full-time in laboratories located at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

GSIP is a full-time training program that spans 11 weeks from May to August. 

In addition to working in Gates Center member's laboratory, interns will participate in weekly GSIP seminars, social events and community service. They will also present their summer research project in a poster session at the Final Day Program.
