Kohler's research focuses on aging and health in low income context, and specifically in sub-Saharan Africa. Kohler is one of the key investigators on a large project focused on mental and cognitive health among older individuals in sub-Saharan Africa. A key characteristic of Kohler's research is the attempt to integrate demographic, economic, sociological and biological approaches in understanding differences in aging patterns in a global perspective.

Preferred Qualifications
Juniors and seniors with advanced quantitative skills are preferred.
Responsibilities include: statistics and data management in STATA; literature research; good organizational skills; and an interest in global health.
