Jonathan Kim

My research interests are primarily focused on understanding and diminishing our ecological footprint on this planet, as environmental issues. Specifically, I’m concentrating my studies on plastic pollution and diminishing its waste in ecological systems. I’ve developed this interest before coming to Penn, believing that this is an issue that will continue to arise as our plastic production increases in the future. Outside of research, I am a double bassist for Penn Symphonic Orchestra, love to play basketball, and am a part of the STEP-UP, chess, and SPEC Film clubs.
