Hi! I’m Arushi, a junior studying PPE in CAS with minors in Economic Policy and Survey Research and Data Analytics. Coming to Penn, I knew I wanted to get involved with research, especially given the plethora of interdisciplinary research opportunities in behavioral economics, politics, and data science, but had no idea where to start. My CURF RPA was an incredible resource in advising me on relevant classes, skills and contacts to build my resume and help me find opportunities — now, I hope I can use my experience to help you do the same!

I’ve held a variety of research positions since freshman year, all across the three fields that I mentioned above. I’ve worked in a few different labs, with various professors, and also on the research team of a political consulting firm last summer. I know how daunting it can be to approach research as a social sciences student, but I’m more than happy to share my experiences and offer any guidance to help you get involved on research on campus!
