Hi, my name is Aili Waller, and I am a senior majoring in Art History and minoring in Global Medieval and Renaissance Studies. My current academic interests lie in the study of forgotten 19th-century American artists, particularly women. In my research, I use genealogical techniques and archival resources to try to rediscover their lives and works. I am also the Schoenberg Institute of Manuscripts’ outreach intern, acting as a student representative to connect and promote Penn’s rare books collection with undergraduate students. I would be delighted to talk to anyone interested in art history, archival research, libraries, applying for fellowships or grants, or humanities-based research in general!
