Summer Undergraduate Internships in Clinical and Translational Science
The undergraduate Translational Research Immersion Program (TRIP) provides students at participating institutions experiential learning opportunities in the field of clinical and translational research (CTR). Partnering institutions include Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Howard University, Florida A&M University, Franklin & Marshall College, Lincoln University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Swarthmore College, University of Pennsylvania, University of Puerto Rico, and Xavier University of Louisiana.

Short Term Educational Experiences for Research (STEER)
Interest in environmental health and the need for increased research in this field has steadily grown during the past decade. To address this need, the University of Pennsylvania has received an NIEHS award for summer internships for selected undergraduate students (the Short Term Educational Experiences for Research or STEER grant, formally known as the Penn Undergraduate Environmental Health Scholars Program).
Penn Program for Public Service Internship Program
The Penn Program for Public Service Internship Program is a 12-week multifaceted summer program that immerses undergraduates in the West Philadelphia-Penn community. Site placements include Agatston Urban Nutrition Initiative and K-8 Summer Programs among others. At the core of the internship is an action-oriented, Academically Based Community Service seminar led by the director of the Netter Center for Community Partnerships, Dr. Ira Harkavy.

Fellowship Dates:
Virtual Fellowship Program (Amsterdam, Berlin, Sarajevo, and Warsaw): June 1 - 23, 2021, followed by individual Action Project implementation. There will be mandatory bimonthly group sessions from September 2021 until February 2022.

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) RISE (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) program
RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering. RISE Germany offers undergraduate students from North American, British and Irish universities the opportunity to complete a summer research internship at top German universities and research institutions. RISE Germany is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
