Information Sessions include:

  • Getting Started in Research- a broad overview of what research involves, how to contact potential faculty mentors, and information about CURF resources and programs that can help
  • “How to” for specific fields - a discussion about what research “looks like” in various disciplines and settings
  • Getting to know faculty- hear from faculty about how to develop good relationships through the various avenues of engagement that are available to students
  • Research Skills Series- sessions ranging from “Public speaking and Presentation Skills” to “How to Write a Grant Proposal” or  “Networking, Cover Letters and Resumes”

Students who wish to learn more after reviewing our online resources should attend relevant information sessions and/or use the Contact Us link to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kerry Milch, Associate Director for Undergraduate Research, or with Dr. Ann Vernon-Grey, Senior Associate Director for Undergraduate Research.
