Penn Museum Fellows

The Penn Museum Fellows program aims to support and promote advanced undergraduate research at the Penn Museum. Over the course of the academic year, Fellows will work with museum curators, staff, or associated faculty on a significant project in the collections, laboratories, or galleries. In support of this research, students will receive a stipend, as well as access to necessary collections, labs, and archival materials. This program is an excellent opportunity for the completion of a senior thesis or other capstone project.

Interested in how the Earth works? The Department of Earth & Environmental Science (EES) provides several opportunities for you to undertake mentored research in a wide range of geoscience fields, including Dynamics and Structure of Earth Materials; Ocean, Atmosphere and Climate Sciences; Biogeochemistry and Global Environmental Change; Paleobiology/Geobiology.

South Asia Center Research Internships

The South Asia Center (SAC) is pleased to announce new research internship placements in South Asia for Summer 2019. Students will be able to work on a project of their own design with the aid of a local mentor in South Asia, or can choose to volunteer with an organization devoted to work in a particular field (see sample topics below).

Wharton Social Impact Research Experience (WSIRE)

The Wharton Undergraduate Division will offer up to ten grants to support undergraduate research that promotes both economic and social value either domestically or abroad. Projects will be designed and carried out by the students under the guidance of some of Wharton’s preeminent faculty members. Students’ projects will culminate in oral presentations and written research papers that will be posted on ScholarlyCommons@Penn.
