Gates Center Summer Internship Program

A committee of Gates Center faculty will select highly qualified undergraduates to work full-time in laboratories located at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in the Gates Center Summer Internship Program.

​Interns will be paid a stipend of $4,000 via direct deposit. The training program does not provide housing.

Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law Summer Internship Program

The Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law (CERL) at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for the Center’s 2019 Summer Internship Program. The Summer Internship Program offers professional and graduate level students an opportunity to further CERL’s efforts to promote and protect the rule of law in national and international security practice.  Summer interns will interact with national security experts on the critical and cutting-edge problems facing our nation today.

UROP International at RWTH Aachen University

UROP International is designed for students from North American universities who wish to gain research experience by conducting research projects at RWTH Aachen University. It takes place during a ten-week research summer school between the middle of May and the end of July.

EPFL School of Life Sciences International Summer Research Program

The Summer Research Program in Life Sciences and Technology at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), will offer an intensive research training opportunity to 25 undergraduate students interested in research careers in life science. A financial compensation for living and housing expenses are provided for all successful candidates.

Each student will gain hands-on lab experience under the supervision of an EPFL Faculty from one of our institutes.  

American Friends of Herculaneum (AFOH) Scholarships

The American Friends of Herculaneum (AFOH) are pleased to announce scholarships for research on a topic related to Herculaneum (preferably) or other ancient sites around the Bay of Naples. Eligible topics include, but are not limited to archaeology, architecture, art history, conservation, history, historiography, papyrology, and philology.  Participation in field schools and photographic campaigns are also eligible.

Moore Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (MURAP) at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

The Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (MURAP) invites applications for a paid summer fellowship for undergraduate students (rising juniors or seniors) in the humanities, social sciences, or fine arts. The 2019 program will be held from May 19 to July 25, 2019 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (application deadline is February 8, 2019).

Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Immigration (CSERI) Turner Schulman Undergraduate Fellowships

CSERI is accepting proposals for undergraduate research undertaken during the 2020-21 academic year. Full-time Penn students in any school whose research focuses on social science approaches to race, ethnicity or immigration are eligible to apply. No travel support will be provided according to Penn restrictions.

Undergraduate proposals are considered year-round and there is no deadline to apply.
