Hi, I’m Rawan! I started my research endeavors here at Penn with PURM. My interests include better understanding the role of muscle stem cell morphology and function. With that, my research has involved analyzing the regulation of muscle stem cells during exercise. In doing so, I have been able to understand how and why the morphology of muscle stem cells changes under different conditions. I am glad to say that I have very much enjoyed my research experience thus far and am continuing my work in the lab this year. If you have any questions about my research, PURM, or need advice on how to jumpstart your own research experience, I am always more than happy to help!
