It has been an incredibly beneficial experience for me to work as a research assistant in the Department of Statistics. I am interested in the applications of advanced statistical and computing methods in public health and social sciences. Topics in statistics including causal inference in observational studies, Bayesian hierarchical modeling, and functional data analysis especially appeal to me. In addition, I am a CURF Research Peer Advisor and a College House Research Fellow. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about getting involved in research as an undergraduate, seeking resources at CURF, or learning statistics in general, and I will try my best to help.
