My research interests include climate change mitigation policy; innovative risk transfer solutions; environmental justice; and the impact of worsening extreme weather. I have worked under Dr. Carolyn Kousky at the Wharton Risk Center since my freshman year. In this role, I have worked on projects surrounding the voluntary purchase of flood insurance (https://riskcenter.wharton.upenn.edu/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Understanding-the-Voluntary-Purchase-of-Flood-Insurance.pdf) and hybrid flood infrastructure models (https://riskcenter.wharton.upenn.edu/studentclimaterisksolutions/facingfloodswithinfrastructure/). Currently, I am conducting research on federal disaster aid programs in the US and opportunities for decarbonization in the transportation sector. Outside of research, I am involved with the Student Sustainability Association at Penn (SSAP), Penn Sirens vocal ensemble, and Penn Hillel.
