One Art

Application Deadline: February 28, 2022

It is the mission of One Art Community Center to provide an inspirational space and programming which embraces and embodies positive values through the arts, education, cultural, and community engagement. Our programs facilitate holistic healing, foster environmental sustainability, cultivate collaborative partnerships, and promote collective growth and unity within the community. Before COVID, the summer season at One Art was a vibrant time hosting various interactive arts festivals, workshops, classes, concerts and other engaging and uplifting events.

Since much has changed in how we all show up in the world, we now have a virtual structure to our internship program. Interns will have an opportunity to use their fields of study and co-create a project with One Art. Some past projects include;

  • Using sustainable architecture to design One Art front facade
  • Researching, designing and creating informational signage
  • Preparation of educational and promotional materials
  • Coordinating community outreach projects
  • Assistance with social media and marketing
  • Learning how to design and construct One Art Tiny Houses
