February 1, 2022The Leonard Davis Institute Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) Program is for rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors, and in the exceptional case graduating seniors from underrepresented minority groups, or anyone interested in exploring the field of health services research. The SUMR program, which runs for 12 weeks from May 28 through August 16, provides students with an opportunity to receive a stipend to conduct health services research on a topic of their choice, under the guidance of Penn faculty. Next year will be the program's 20th anniversary cohort.
