Benjamin Franklin Scholars
Christine Olagun-Samuel

BFS senior Christine Olagun-Samuel, with the help of Hadja Diallo and the Black Student League (BSL), has published the first issue of Faces of Black Penn (FACES). FACES seeks to collect and reflect the full range of the black experience on Penn's campus, by profiling Penn's black students. FACES is not Olagun-Samuel's first experience with media. She has written several articles for the Daily Pennsylvanian, many of which reinforced the importance of gender and racial equity on campus. FACES continues and broadens that work. Read more about Christine and the origins of FACES on Penn Today. And, of course, take the time to read the inaugural issue as well!
