BFS extends a hearty "Hurrah!" to Professors Karen Detlefsen and Alain Plante in recognition of their appointment to the twelfth cohort of Penn Fellows. Penn Fellows provides mid-career Penn faculty with opportunities to shape the future of the University and academe. Professor Detlefsen is the former director of the ISP program and a professor of philosophy and education in the School of Arts and Sciences. Professor Plante has taught several BFS courses, is the director of the University Scholars Program, and professor and undergraduate chair of earth and environmental science in SAS. Congratulations Drs. Detlefsen and Plante!
