Undergraduate Clinical Scholars Program (UCSP)
The UCSP is a 9-week rigorous summer research enrichment program. The program is open to students from any accredited university in the United States and is designed specifically for undergraduate students with an interest in clinical/epidemiologic research, with an eventual goal of MD, PhD, or MD-PhD degrees. Preference will be given to non-graduating college students. At this time, we are not accepting graduate or post-baccalaureate students.

South Asia Center Research Internships
The South Asia Center (SAC) is pleased to announce new research internship placements in South Asia for Summer 2019. Students will be able to work on a project of their own design with the aid of a local mentor in South Asia, or can choose to volunteer with an organization devoted to work in a particular field (see sample topics below).

The Amici Prize: Undergraduate Research in Italian Studies
The Amici Prize was established in 1993 by a group of donors to provide an award to an undergraduate student for independent study in Italy, as designated by the director of the Center for Italian Studies.
Wharton Summer Program for Undergraduate Research
Wharton SPUR is a unique program that provides a select group of up to 10 highly motivated students an opportunity to design and perform in-depth research over a 10-week period in the summer under the guidance of some of Wharton’s preeminent faculty members.
Wharton Social Impact Research Experience (WSIRE)
The Wharton Undergraduate Division will offer up to ten grants to support undergraduate research that promotes both economic and social value either domestically or abroad. Projects will be designed and carried out by the students under the guidance of some of Wharton’s preeminent faculty members. Students’ projects will culminate in oral presentations and written research papers that will be posted on ScholarlyCommons@Penn.

Summer Undergraduate Internships in Clinical and Translational Science
The undergraduate Translational Research Immersion Program (TRIP) provides students at participating institutions experiential learning opportunities in the field of clinical and translational research (CTR). Partnering institutions include Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Howard University, Florida A&M University, Franklin & Marshall College, Lincoln University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Swarthmore College, University of Pennsylvania, University of Puerto Rico, and Xavier University of Louisiana.
